Hello! My name is Sara Emerson, I am a professional singer (I hold my Master of Music in voice performance, sing on opera and broadway stages, Carnegie Hall, etc), and I am very passionate about making music and concerts accessible to young families! I specialize in “wiggles concerts” where kids and toddlers are welcome to get up and be involved in the concert, where even babies can come experience great music, and parents can relax and not feel pressured to keep their kids still and quiet. I integrate the materials available at your library so that families can continue their music appreciation at home, reading books, listening to music, or watching videos. Below you will find several options for special music concerts that I’ve curated especially for families!
Please peruse these wonderful half-hour concerts that I have enjoyed presenting at libraries throughout Michigan over the past decade. Let me know which one(s) you would be most interested in including in your programming this coming season. I would love to introduce this fantastic music to the young families that patronize your library. Performance fee is $350 per concert. Feel free to email me at saraemesonsoprano@gmail.com or call me at 734-576-1183 or via this website.

I am also happy to develop a specific concert to meet the needs or programming of your library! For example, I performed a “Lullabies Around the World” program for a library whose summer reading program was Around the World. I love creative concert programming and would be excited to put together any concert that you would love for your library.
